ACS Employment Status Boundaries

Overview This feature service provides American Community Survey employment status indicators for U.S. state, county, and census tract boundary layers. It brings together standardized geographic identifiers, names, land and water area attributes, and labor force measures that describe employment conditions for each geography. Feature Layers State — State boundary features with statewide area information and ACS measures related to hours worked, labor force participation, employment, unemployment, and population not in the labor force. County — County boundary features with county-level area information, state association, and the same ACS labor force and employment indicators for local comparison and reporting. Tract — Census tract boundary features with tract-level area information, state and county context, and detailed ACS employment status measures for fine-scale geographic analysis. Geographic Coverage The service covers the United States and is organized by administrative boundaries at multiple scales, from states to counties and census tracts.
