This project contains sequence files used to determine the fitness cost of transposon-disrupted genes, at a genome-wide scale, via Tn-Seq analysis (van Opijnen et al. 2009; McCoy et al. 2017). The sequences are from Streptococcus pneumoniae strains TIGR4 (NC_003028.3), and Taiwan-19F (NC_012469.1) grown in environments including Glucose, Alpha-1-acid glycroprotein, and 1% Agarose. Resulting fitness files from Tn-Seq analysis were included in the publication "droplet-Tn-Seq combines microfluidics with Tn-Seq identifying complex single-cell phenotypes". Barcodes for individual samples used for Tn-Seq analysis are described in the metadata.
