This dataset is developed by collecting and analyzing after-sales maintenance records of equipment including printing machines and hot stamping machines, aiming to obtain the mechanical failure rate and electrical failure rate of such devices. It offers solid reference data for equipment manufacturers to formulate R&D improvement strategies and prepare spare parts for subsequent fault maintenance, thus better resolving customer after-sales issues and improving customer satisfaction. 1. Data Collection: Gather fault reports of printing machines, hot stamping machines and other relevant equipment submitted by customers across various time periods, categorize the faults into mechanical faults and electrical faults, and conduct analysis based on the collected data of different mechanical and electrical fault types. 2. Processing Algorithm: The equipment failure rate (in percentage) is defined as the ratio of fault occurrences per unit time period. For repairable equipment, its failure rate follows a curve over time: during the initial fault phase, the failure rate decreases from a high level, which is caused by factors such as material defects, poor design and manufacturing quality, assembly errors, and insufficient operator training. The mechanical and electrical failure rates of the equipment can be derived by analyzing the fault causes and fault locations of the devices.
