Processed global-mean TOA net flux and surface temperature anomalies from long-run and CMIP CO2 experiments: data and scripts for the modified ECS method

This repository contains the adopted global-mean annual-mean anomalies of TOA energy imbalance and surface air temperature from all long-run coupled simulations, as well as from the CMIP 1pctCO2 and abrupt-4×CO2 simulations, together with the data and scripts used to produce the figures for “Improved Estimates of Equilibrium Climate Sensitivity from Non-Equilibrated Climate Simulations” by Haozhe He, Brian J. Soden, and Ryan J. Kramer (2026, in revision for Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres).
