资源简介:
Silkworm bacterial disease is endangers in sericulture and occurred seriously in Xieng Khouang Province, Laos. Here, the first complete sequence of the tissue was isolated from the body of the diseased silkworm larvae in Laos. The gene contains a single round chromosome and five round plasmids. Its analysis will provide clues for its pathological mechanism and biology. This bacterial disease is a major silkworm disease in Silkworm rearing in Xieng Khouang Province, Laos, and causing serious losses. After infection, the silkworm suffered from black chest symptoms and died, and the body rotted and blackened. We sequenced its genome. In order to find the key genes of pathogenic infection and clarify the relationship between pathogen and host. The nucleic acid size of bacterial DNA is 5.82-Mb genome, including 6 replicons, a circular chromosome (5369252 bp, named Scaffold1) and 5 circular plasmids (449758 bp), named Scaffold2, Scaffold3, Scaffold4, Scaffold5, Scaffold6. The G+C content of the round chromosome is 35.21%, while the G+C content of the five plasmids is 33.48%, 31.53%, 31.60%, 31.43%, 33.13% respectively. The four plasmids are known and one is newly discovered (Scaffold2). The total number of coding gene sequences (CDS) identified was 5814. The gene was analyzed by functional annotation using KEGG, COG, Swiss-Prot, TrEMBL, NR and GO databases. TRNAscan and RNAmmer identified 107 tRNA and 42 rRNA copies respectively. In addition, the genome contains protophages, genome islands (GIs) and two clustered short palindrome repeats with regular intervals. The results will not only help to better understand the physiology, metabolic potential and viral pathogenicity of this pathogen, but also help to develop more effective pest control strategies for functional genomics.
