资源简介:
The Environmental Quality Index (EQI) is a composite environmental indicator developed by the EPA to summarize overall environmental quality across the US. It combines many environmental variables such as Air, Water, Land, built environment, and Sociodemographic environment into a single index to help researchers study links between environmental conditions and human health outcomes. The primary purpose of EQI is to promote environmental health research to study associations between environmental quality and health outcomes such as mortality, birth outcomes, asthma, cancer, and chronic diseases.
