Screening and constructing a series of gradient-strength promoters in Pediococcus acidilactici

The GRAS strain Pediococcus acidilactici is well known for its excellent environmental tolerance, which makes it an ideal metabolic engineering host. However, the rare gene expression elements greatly obstruct the development of engineering P. acidilactici. The regulation of metabolic pathway by native or engineering promoter elements is an effective strategy for increasing production. Thus, we constructed a native promoter-5'-UTR complexes (PUTR) library in P. acidilactici DY15 by RNA-seq.
