Canis lupus familiaris Genome sequencing and targeted resequencing

We developed a hybrid capture-based target enrichment panel, the Canine Oncopanel, for the detection of a wide spectrum of mutation types in 284 cancer-related genes. To validate the ability of the Canine Oncopanel to detect ariants that are present in the tumor samples, we sequenced 18 tumors that were previously analyzed by alternative methods ( whole exome sequencing and alternative targeted sequencing).
