资源简介:
Three young spotted seals (Phoca largha) were tagged on May 18–19, 2017 with ARGOS satellite tags SPOT-293A (Wildlife Computers, Inc., USA). Fieldwork was conducted in the Rimsky-Korsakov Archipelago located in the central part of Peter the Great Gulf, Russia (42°38ʹ–42°34ʹ N, 131°21ʹ–131°31ʹ E). The seals were captured at their costal haul-out sites using a hoop net. The tags were attached to the top of the head of each seal using special glue. The sex and age of each captured individual were determined by visual examination and by such characteristics as body length and size of claws. The tagged spotted seals proved to be underyearling male (Platform ID No. 148660), underyearling female (Platform ID No. 94842), and yearling male (Platform ID No. 148661). The study was conducted under the Joint Committee on Environmental Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Korea and the Government of the Russian Federation (K-R-10-02, Korea-Russia bilateral cooperation on the conservation of pinnipeds). All procedures with animals were permitted by the Federal Agency for Fisheries of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and approved by the Pacific Fisheries Research Center.
