Sequencing of Achromobacter isolates from patients with cystic fibrosis

This study encompasses 101 clinical isolates of the Achromobacter (A. xylosoxidans (N=52), A. insuavis (N=18), A. ruhlandii (N=29), A. aegrifaciens (N=1) and Achromobacter sp. (N=1)) that were sampled from 51 patients with CF attending the Copenhagen Cystic Fibrosis Center at the University Hospital, Rigshospitalet. Genomic DNA was prepared from Achromobacter isolates on a QIAcube system using a DNeasy Blood and Tissue Kit (Qiagen) and sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq2000 platform generating 250-bp paired-end reads.
