Whole exome sequencing of triple negative breast cancer in Pakistani patients

TNBC is a genetically heterogeneous disease with diverse mutational profiles among patient cohorts from different ethnic backgrounds. There is a major gap in knowledge pertaining to the mutational profiles of TNBCs in Southeast Asian and is non-existent for Pakistani population. There is a dire need to distinguish clinically actionable genetic variants for definite therapeutic intervention. Whole-exome sequencing of TNBC tissue samples will initiate development of a molecular profile of Pakistani Triple Negative Breast Cancer patients.
