UCadMet Daily Meteorological Dataset

Data set of basic daily meteorological observations from UCadMet observatory since 2014 in the Dakar region (Senegal). All daily resolution files are structured as follows: | | variable acronym | Valid samples |------------------------------------------------|YYYY-mm-dd | 0.00 | 144 || ... | ... | ... | All files contain a header of only 1 row. In the first column (the dates column) the header is empty,in the second column the header contain the acronym for the measured variable, the acronyms for each variable are: |variable name | acronym | units |-------------------------------------------------------------------|Precipitation | PCP | mm/day ||Temperature | TMAP01 | degrees celsius ||Wind speed | WSPD01 | m/s ||Wind speed standard deviation | WSPD01std | m/s ||Wind direction | WDIR01 | degrees ||Wind direction standard deviation | WDIR01std | degrees ||Relative humidity | RHMA01 | % | And the last column contains "Valid samples". The value of this column is the number of valid 10-minutal samples used to calculate the daily aggregate.
