TIE-GCM simulations

This dataset provides simulation outputs generated by the Thermosphere-Ionosphere-Electrodynamics General Circulation Model (TIE-GCM) and Horizontal Wind Model (HWM) in support of the publication titled “Thermosphere-Ionosphere Responses During Geomagnetically Quiet and High Solar Activity Conditions”. The TIE-GCM data covers 19–20 January 2023 and includes the atomic oxygen to molecular nitrogen ratio (O/N2), Total Electron Content (TEC), neutral species (O, O2, N2), neutral temperature, and zonal/meridional neutral winds (Un, Vn). Additionally, HWM wind parameters are included for both 'all' and 'sol' model runs.
