Transcriptome of endosperm transfer cells (ETCs) in barley seeds

Transcriptome profiling of endosperm transfer cells (ETCs) during and after cellularization in wild type (WT) and HvHK1-RNAi grains of barley. RNA-seq of ETC regions from two RNAi-lines with most severe repression of HvHK1 (lines: 4_9 + 16_6) and corresponding WT cells was performed to identify HvHK1-mediated pathways. Cells were isolated by laser capture microdissection (LCM) at 4/5 and 7 DAF to extract commonly differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in the two RNAi-lines.
