EOS-RS Flood and Damage Proxy Maps: Leyte, Philippines, Tropical Cyclone Agaton (Megi), Apr 2022

The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) created preliminary Flood Proxy Maps (FPM) and Damage Proxy Maps (DPM) covering areas that are likely impacted by landslides and are flooded in Leyte, Philippines due to Tropical Cyclone Agaton (Megi) which made landfall on 11 Apr 2022. These maps were derived from synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images acquired by the ALOS-2 satellites operated by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
