Supporting data for "Subseasonal tropical convection characteristics in the Energy Exascale Earth System Model version 2": Part II: E3SM version 2 data
收藏资源简介:
This record is a collection of files in support of manuscript "Subseasonal tropical convection characteristics in the Energy Exascale Earth System Model version 2" by Benedict, Wolding, Hannah, and DeMott and submitted to the Journal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems. The collection contains: (a) source code for version 2 of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Energy Exascale Earth System Model (E3SMv2), (b) daily averaged, single-level output from a 30-year time slice of the E3SMv2 Coupled Model Intercomparison Project simulation, (c) daily averaged, single- and multi-level output from a 10-year supplemental E3SMv2 simulation (E3SMv2-supp), and (d) hourly averaged precipitation output from E3SMv2-supp. All simulation outputs have been interpolated to a 73x144 latitude-longitude grid (approximately 2.5°), with selected fields trimmed to an equatorial latitude band to reduce data size.
