A large format cabinet photograph of a Latino bride and groom by Benjamin F. Conaway, Santa Ana, circa 1890s. The photo shows the bride in her white dress and train and long veil standing next to a table draped with a covering on which is a vase with flowers. On the other side of the table the groom sits on a side chair and wears a dark three-piece suit, on which is a corsage, with a white shirt. Conaway was father-in-law of A. Otis Birch, an oil man in the Brea Canyon field, who also was a business partner of Walter P. Temple in another oil venture. With some soiling, edge rubbing, and a few stains, the condition is good overall.
