Effects of the anti-inflammatory Fh15 protein on the gut microbiota of an Ulcerative colitis mice model induced by DSS

The working hypothesis is that Fh15 will improve the gut symbiotic bacterial communities. The composition and diversity of the bacterial gut community will be characterized through Ilumina Miseq using genomic DNA (gDNA) extracted from fecal pellets of DSS-induced UC mice treated with Fh15 . The resulting microbiota will be associated with the profile of pro-inflammatory cytokines as well as to other inflammatory markers.
