In this study, we investigate the diversity of the Laminaria digitata microbiome across different maturation stages, in different parts of the thallus, in the field vs laboratory samples, and according to the chemical elemental composition of the sporophyte peripheral tissues. Assessments were carried out from DNA samples by 16S metabarcoding of the variable V3-V4 region using the 341Fv3 and 806R primers followed by sequencing on an Illumina Miseq (2x250 bp).
