Impact of the post-milking application of Lacticaseibacillus paracasei CIRM BIA 1542 on bovine teat microbiota

This study aimed at evaluating the impact of a post milking application on the bovine teat skin of Lacticaseibacillus paracasei CIRM BIA 1542 (Lp1542) on the microbiota of teat skin and foremilk. An in vivo assay was thus conducted on 20 cows to assess the impact of Lp1542 post-milking treatment on teat skin and in foremilk microbiota in comparison with iodine treatment and the absence of treatment.
