Experimentelle Daten zur Charakterisierung des elasto-plastischen Verhaltens von Kabeln

Within the framework of the DFG project (project number 405490285) experimental data for the characterisation of the elasto-plastic behaviour of cables and other slender anisotropic structures was measured. The study includes tensile, torsion, bending and three-point bending tests as well as coupled load cases of bending with pre-torsion. The measurement file is categorised by material type and formatted in a standardised structure. The materials include PVC rods, CFRP rods, single-core automotive cables, coaxial cables and self-manufactured cables. This data provides detailed insights into mechanical behaviour under different loads and can be used to validate numerical models. The study aims to to extend the understanding of the anisotropic elasto-plastic behaviour of cables and to the basis for future research work and technical applications.
