The Supermarket Sweep project sampled 100+ fermented foods that can be commonly found in grocery stores or small manufacturers. The project aimed to create predictive models of anti-inflammatory activity of fermented foods by collecting paired metagenomic, RNA-seq, metabolomics, and anti-inflammatory marker bioactivity data from these foods.
