Hydrogen sulphide (H2S), a known gasotransmitter, regulates various physiological processes, but its cardiac functions, particularly at the molecular level, in fish remain poorly understood. This study focuses on the modulatory effects of exogenous H2S, delivered via the sulphide donor sodium hydrosulphide (NaHS), using primary cultures of cardiomyocytes from Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar).
