This dataset includes a 30-meter resolution spatial dataset for remote sensing monitoring and simulation of carbon storage in the natural forest protection project area of the Greater Khingan Mountains in 2020, providing data support for ecological carbon sequestration projects in this area. Carbon storage is the result of long-term carbon accumulation in ecosystems, referring to the total amount of organic carbon in existing vegetation biomass, organic carbon in litter, and the total soil organic carbon sequestration capacity of the ecosystem. Understanding the carbon storage status of the natural forest protection project area of the Greater Khingan Mountains and formulating ecological carbon sequestration projects tailored to this area are of great significance for enhancing the carbon management of the area and its standing in global greenhouse gas emission reduction efforts. This dataset can extensively serve researchers and students in relevant disciplines such as ecological conservation and ecological monitoring.
