Our previous results from RNA-seq and IP-MS together suggest that SUMOylation may be critical for the DNA-binding capability of HEY1 to enhance its transcriptional repressive activity. To confirm our speculation, we conducted ChIP assays in HUVECs. Samples were from human umbilical vein endothelial cell (HUVECs) infected with adenovirus expressing HEY1-WT/3KR. Egight samples were divided into two groups: HEY1-WT group and HEY1-3KR group. Each group was divided in to "input" (as control) and "ChIP". There were 2 replicates for single experiment.
