Stable oxygen isotope chronology for the eastern Netherlands/northwestern Germany covering the period 1300-1600 CE

Annually resolved stable oxygen isotope chronology developed from oak (Quercus sp.) latewood representing the Twente-Westfalia Region (eastern Netherlands and northwest of Germany) spanning 1300–1600 CE. This chronology is presented in the article by Rodríguez-Morata, C., Davies, D, Loader, N.J., McCarroll, D.J., Van Daalen, S., Haneca, K., Daux, V., Domínguez-Delmás, M., 2026. Advancing annually resolved oxygen isotope dendrochronology to overcome wood-dating limitations in the Euro-Atlantic region. PLOS ONE. The TWR chronology was obtained by pooling latewood samples per year. Raw data are provided (run in duplicate) along with a series of indices filtered using the 9-year running mean. As the raw data have a trend in them through time please use the indices column in ISODATE (uploaded as filtered data) rather than uploading the raw data and filtering. Doing it this way will avoid any strange end effects.
