We aimed to study the activity of delafloxacin against a collection of S. aureus and to determine the underlying mechanism of the delafloxacin-resistance acquisition. In those isolates intermediate or resistant to delafloxacin we performed a WGS by short-read Illumina sequencing and long-read Nanopore sequencing.
