The effect of ascorbic acid upon SHED and DPSC was tested for 7 and 21 days. Post ascorbic acid treatment, we compared the protein profile with positive control (combination of ascorbic acid and <i>B</i>-glycerophosphate) and negative control (untreated cells). We found that ascorbic acid-treated cells produced a highly similar protein profile with the positive control. Several proteins were suggested as candidate proteins that could be studied during ascorbic acid treatment.
