Elevation of Granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) in human AMD donor RPE-choroid

Single nuclei RNA sequencing identified choroidal endothelial cells and fibroblasts as the primary cell types responsible for increasing G-CSF expression in response to mCRP in RPE-choroid organ cultures. Overall design: RPE and choroid were obtained from a single human donor and incubated in DMEM containing mCRP (treated) or PBS (control). Nuclei from both isolates were evaluated with single-nucleus RNA-seq.
