Éléments de géométrie algébrique (EGA): Canonical French and Standalone English Editions

2026-08-08 EGA I 3.3.1 / 3.3.10 corrected-layer / standalone-English R192 checkpoint. This same-concept successor maintains exactly two independent cumulative editions. The canonical diplomatic French reader and master remain admitted through EGA II printed p.24. The independent standalone English EGA 0–IV reader now includes the verified retroactive 3.3.1 categorical correction. French and English retain separate masters, sources, manifests, QA, and reversible ledgers; there is no bilingual, paired, parallel, side-by-side, interleaved, or combined reader. Printed EGA I 3.3.1 says every property in section 3.3 except 3.3.13 and 3.3.15 holds without modification in any category, while the final sentence of 3.3.10 says base change also commutes with sums. Pullback need not preserve coproducts. In Grp, with S=1, nontrivial H=S', and X1=X2=1, the two routes give id_H:H→H versus the nonisomorphic fold H*H→H in Grp/H. Diplomatic French preserves and catalogues the authorial error. Corrected English adds the final sum assertion of 3.3.10 to the 3.3.1 exception list while retaining 3.3.10 for preschemes. REF5 preserves the direct-source adjudication and reversals; R192 records the exact R191 preimage, byte offset, replacement, inverse, and complete 127-file replay. The standalone English reader remains 1,345 pages and physical p.303 passed visual QA. The French reader remains 159 pages and is the default preview. The prior EGA I 2.4.5 and EGA II p.24 corrections are retained. 03_INDEX.md is non-reader semantic metadata. Canonical French EGA 0–IV remains incomplete; after this public closure, the next direct-NUMDAM cursor is EGA II printed p.25, continuation of Proposition 2.2.5.
