Household electricity demand and generation data - Cyprus

This dataset contains hourly electricity consumption and production data for 68 households in Cyprus during the year 2016. The data were collected as part of the LIFE+ SmartPV Project, which aimed to promote a more economically and environmentally sustainable electricity grid in Cyprus and across Europe. The project involved: (a) A pilot network of domestic prosumers (households that both consume and produce electricity); (b) Installation of photovoltaic systems on rooftops; and (c) Use of smart meters to enable remote monitoring and data collection. This setup allowed for real-time insights into energy production and consumption patterns across various households spread throughout the island.
