Thermodynamic dataset and the contour maps of some useful petrological parameters on pressure-temp

This dataset summarizes a series of thermodynamic analyses performed using the Rhyolite-MELTS software on the chemical compositions of dacitic lava from Ruapehu volcano and basaltic lavas from the Taupo Volcanic Zone of New Zealand. The results are visualized as contour diagrams plotted on temperature–pressure planes comprising approximately 60,000 PNG images. These diagrams are interlinked through hypertext, and the associated numerical data are organized in an SQLite3-format database, with guidance provided for extracting relevant information.
