Izumi fever caused by Yersinia pseudotuberculosis was described by Dr. Izumi on 1927. Izumi fever has become rare infectious diseases by improvement of healthcare environment in Japan. We recently encountered an Izumi fever case, and isolated causative Y. pseudotuberculosis. In this study, we determined the complete whole genome sequence of the isolate.
