Pescadero Basin (Gulf of California) MBARI AUV mission 20181106m1 near-bottom raw swath bathymetry and acoustic backscatter .s7k files (2018)

This Pescadero Basin raw swath bathymetry data set was collected with a Reson SeaBat 7125 multibeam sonar system on MBARI Mapping AUV mission 20181106m1 (investigators Dave Caress, Rob Zierenberg, Dave Clague, Jennifer Paduan). The data files are in MB-System-compatible format (mbio format 88) and contain raw swath bathymetry and acoustic backscatter data. The AUV survey mission was conducted during the 2018 R/V Falkor cruise FK181031 (chief scientist Rob Zierenberg, UC Davis). Funding was provided by the Schmidt Ocean Institute and a grant from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation to MBARI.
