Rental Report 2012-13 - Quarterly: Data Tables

This section of the Rental Report provides a summary of the data used in the\nReport\n\nThe Rental Report provides key statistics on the private rental market in\nVictoria. The major source for the statistics presented in the Rental Report\nis the Residential Tenancies Bond Authority which collects data on all rental\nbonds lodged under the Residential Tenancies Act 1997.\n\nThe Victorian Government through the Department of Human Services is committed\nto improving the speedy delivery and accuracy of private rental data for use\nby the community, our community sector agencies and our private sector\npartners. From the June quarter 2013 the provision of this information will be\nprovided more promptly after the end of the quarter through data sets in excel\nformat. The production of the detailed full report, which delayed prompt\ndistribution of the core data sets will discontinue after the March 2013\nquarter.\n\n
