Mycobacterium Phage WST1 isolate:WST1 Genome sequencing and assembly

This study presents the complete genome sequence and characterization of Mycobacterium phage WST1, a lytic bacteriophage isolated from wastewater in Chengdu, China. The primary goal is to analyze its genomic features, including gene annotation and phylogenetic relationship within the Siphoviridae family. The phage's potential applications in environmental mycobacterial control and phage therapy are also investigated. Host: Mycobacterium smegmatis mc^2 155.
