Use of organic compounds by phytoplankton from the Elbe estuary (ecoplate data)

The present dataset contains the raw data underlying the publication "Organic compounds drive growth in phytoplankton taxa from different functional groups" (https://doi.org/10.1098/rspb.2023.2713). The data collection was carried out as part of the DFG-funded project “Biota-mediated effects on carbon cycling in estuaries” within the RTG2530 (grant number 407270017). We provide a data sheet each with the processed data and metadata, as well as the raw data as .fcs files (flow cytometric data) which can be read with the provided R script. Information about the strains has been previously published (http://doi.org/10.25592/uhhfdm.18668).
