Gene Expression changes in the lung post pneumococcal infection of Myeloid Specific Zip8KO mice

We have used single cell sequencing approach using 10xGenomic using scRNA-seq to evaluate the changes in lung cells post pneumococcal infection in WT and Zip8KO mouse model. Overall design: WT and Zip8KO non-infected and post 72 hour pneumococcal infection, whole lungs were harvested. Following enzymatic digestion, RBC lysis, and dead cell removal, lung homogenates were submitted for scRNA-seq analysis.
