We identified a gene named PDD which is essential for rice development. Dysfunction of PDD lead to albino leaves before five-leaf stage and many other developmental defects in rice. To globally investigate the effects of PDD on mRNA accumulation, we conducted the high-throughput whole-transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) using 187R (WT) and NIL (mutant) 10-day-seedlings with three biological replicates.
