Genome sequencing of several Elizabethkingia anophelis clinical isolates from Hanoi, Vietnam

Elizabethkingia anophelis is an emerging opportunistic pathogen first detected in 2011 in the midgut of Anopheles gambiae mosquitoes. Since then, human infections have been reported with increased frequency and associated to several outbreaks around the world. Here, we report the detection of several Elizabethkingia anophelis strains isolated from clinical cases of various departments in the 108 Military Central Hospital of Hanoi, Vietnam. Draft and later complete genome sequence assemblies have been obtained through BGI and ONT sequencing.
