Water Level Constituent Stations This feature layer, utilizing National Geospatial Data Asset (NGDA) data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, displays the Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS) locations of removed and presently operating water level stations, in the United States and elsewhere, at which harmonic constituents have been generated and accepted. According to NOAA, “There are hundreds of periodic motions of the Earth, Sun, and Moon that are identified by astronomy.
