资源简介:

Based on the cross-sectional study conducted in Thailand's Ubon Ratchathani Province, from April to December 2020, the research team aimed to investigate the likelihood of accidents on school main routes. The study employed various research tools, including the Haddon Matrix for the classification of factors that are at risk of accidents, fault tree analysis for risk assessment, and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (FTA-AHP) techniques. The research objective was to determine the risk of accidents that each situation would lead to an accident near a school. The results of the study showed that the highest risk score level 3 was attributed to three main factors. Firstly, human error was identified as a significant risk perception. Secondly, environmental factors such as driving at excessive speeds were also identified as a contributing factor. Lastly, issues with the vehicle or equipment, such as lighting, braking, and handling, were also identified as potential risks for accidents. Overall, the study highlights the importance of identifying and managing potential risks on school routes to reduce the likelihood of accidents. The findings can be utilized to develop and implement targeted interventions to mitigate these risks and ensure the safety of students traveling on school routes.
