Sizes, weights and volumes of poly-metallic nodules from box cores taken during SONNE cruises SO268/1 and SO268/2

This dataset contains measurements for individual poly-metallic (manganese) nodules, sampled from the sea floor by box corer during RV Sonne cruise SO268. Volumes were measured for selected nodules in the first two box cores only. Size (length, width, height) and weight data are available for all nodules within all box cores up to the measurement limit (5g) of the equipment used (mechanical ruler and electronic scale).
