国家林业和草原局根据林草生态综合监测评价结果，编制了《2021中国林草资源及生态状况》，系统介绍中国林草资源的数量、结构、分布，以及林草生态系统的格局、质量、功能，为生态保护修复和高质量发展提供依据，为山水林田湖草沙系统治理提供参考，为增进国际国内社会了解中国林草生态建设成就提供窗口。

National Forestry and Grassland Administration compiled *2021 China's Forest and Grassland Resources and Ecological Status* based on the results of comprehensive monitoring and assessment of forest-grassland ecosystems. This report systematically introduces the quantity, structure and spatial distribution of China's forest and grassland resources, as well as the pattern, quality and function of forest-grassland ecosystems. It provides a scientific basis for ecological conservation and restoration as well as high-quality development, offers references for the systematic governance of mountains, waters, forests, farmlands, lakes, grasslands and deserts, and serves as a window for both domestic and international communities to learn about China's achievements in forest and grassland ecological construction.
