The research investigates chelating agents frequently used in endodontic treatment; EDTA and citric acid, to a newly proposed agent etidronic acid (HEDP) and its two form of use; dual or single rinse.The effect of chelating agents were investigated as in two outcomes; tubular sealer penetration, examined with confocal scanning microscopy imaging and smear layer removal, examined with scanning electron microscopy.
