These volumes document the daily state of inmates (prisoners) and staff within the Correctional Centre PDC.  The ‘Distribution’ of staff being their duty assigned or their leave type is noted. The inmate numbers received and/or discharged, numbers separately confined, also includes reports on ration inspection, musters attended, official visitors & visits to prison after 5:30pm. There is also recorded a section for ‘Directions & Special Occurrences’.  The record is daily signed off by the Superintendent.Bound volumes appear to be what is known as a “B44” a purpose printed volume, this record is therefore prevalent across all prison agencies.
