This study investigated the epigenetic role of AID induced by inflammation. AID, which binds to the promoter region of NINJ2, induces DNA demethylation. Thus, these findings suggest physiological roles of AID expression in colonic epithelial cells. DLD-1 cell line was transfected with a pEGFP-N1 empty vector (control#2) or an AID-Myc/his tag vector (AID-OP#1) to identified AID-induced genes.
