Diaporthe Genome Sequencing

The genus Diaporthe has been discovered worldwide on a wide variety of host plants, functioning as endophytes, pathogens, and saprobes. In the past, a number of crucial plant diseases caused by Diaporthe species were reported over time. The aims of the study were to explores the diversity of mitogenomes among several species of Diaporthe, and to a deeper understanding of genetic evolution and species differentiation within the Diaporthe genus.
