本数据集集合了2016年和2018年贵州普定喀斯特生态系统观测研究站的陈旗流域（农田、弃耕地、灌丛、次生林）和天龙山（近顶级植被的常绿落叶阔叶混交林）5种植被类型土壤酶活性和氮循环微生物功能基因的数据。数据集由1个含有8个表单的Excel文件组成，包括2016年剖面土壤采样点信息、2016年5种植被类型下剖面土壤酶活性数据、氮循环微生物功能基因丰度及氮转化速率的数据、活体微生物量数据、微生物残体碳数据、理化性质数据，以及2018年近顶级植被的常绿落叶阔叶混交林植物根际土壤理化性质和水解酶活性数据。

This dataset compiles data on soil enzyme activities and functional genes of nitrogen-cycling microorganisms, collected in 2016 and 2018 at the Chenqi Watershed (covering farmland, abandoned farmland, shrubland and secondary forest) and Tianlong Mountain (hosting near-climax evergreen-deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest) of the Guizhou Puding Karst Ecosystem Observation and Research Station, involving five vegetation types. The dataset is stored as a single Excel workbook with 8 spreadsheets, including: information on 2016 profile soil sampling sites; profile soil enzyme activity data under the five vegetation types in 2016; data on the abundance of nitrogen-cycling microbial functional genes and nitrogen transformation rates; living microbial biomass data; microbial necromass carbon data; physicochemical property data; and 2018 data on rhizosphere soil physicochemical properties and hydrolase activities of the near-climax evergreen-deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest.
