Dataset Passive Mobile Data and Trail Counters in Swedish Mountain Areas

This dataset includes three files. Fulufjallet_PMD_counter_data_2024 includes date and visitor counts from passive mobile data and trail counters in Fulufjället National Park in Sweden for 2024. Langfjallet_PMD_counter_data_2024 includes data and visitor counts from passive mobile data and trail counters in Långfjället Nature Reserve in Sweden for the summer of 2024. Passive_mobile_data_combined_fulu_lang includes date, week, area and visitor count for passive mobile data from 2019-2024. Passive mobile data were obtained from Telia, a large teleoperator in Sweden. Trail counter data were obtained from a local management agency.
